An impressive and scenografic tour of the alps, crossing the Mediterranean Valtellina
with its grapevine and its exuberant nature, reaching Livigno, called by locals the little Tibet
due to its high ( 1800 meters above see level) and its climate. Livigno can be considered a paradise for shopping, thanks to its status of tax free area. Hundreds of shops where all the best brands are sold are at disposal of the guests in a unique alpine atmosphere.
Leaving Livigno we cross the Bernina Pass at 2.200 meters and we open a window on the eternal glaciers of the Palu peaks and of the Bernina circle. A wonderful and unforgettable experience would be to get the Diavolezza lift and jump at the 2.900 meters of the Chamona da Diavulezza. The amazing glaciers are under our feet and the trouble of the precipice is in front of us. Further on we reach the world famous village of Sankt Moritz and its typical alpine lakes. Visit to the oldest part and driving through the natural set of Engadina and passing the Maloja pass we return into Italy and later on the warm atmosphere of Lake Como.
Stop for dinner at the Crotti , typical Inns of Como Lake , which are only open in summer time. Food, wine and genuine fun are at home here.
